This list was generated by sorting database records containing a simple "Rank Index", keyed to various government positions held. The rank_index field is an optional, unrestricted, three-character text field that assumes zero is the highest possible rank and 999 is the lowest. Unpredictable sorts will be obtained if non-numeric characters or blanks are supplied for the Rank Index. The system also assigns a unique integer to each record as its Entry_ID, corresponding to the order records naturally appear in the database table. Higher Entry_IDs are more recent additions. Where two records have the SAME rank-index, the system sorts them secondarily by their Entry_ID fields. Entry_Date is not a factor.
